Some users are now complaining with regards to their iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max – and these complaints are focused primarily on a green tint that is visible on the displays of all these three phones. From what we know right now, the problem that is persistent for many users, and seems to occur randomly – once users unlock the devices. It is quite possible then that the problem may be related to a software bug. Random green display bug occupying iPhone 11 customers.
The reports about this greenish screen effect have also been shared in Reddit– and seemingly enough, it is said that the problem usually and mostly is known to occur on the iPhone 11 models. While there are without doubt many inconsistencies to take into account, in most cases, the screen turns green right after the user unlocks the iPhone or indeed when Dark Mode or Night Shift is activated.
It is also quite possible that rather than being a hardware problem, this might be a software issue – since many users have actually claimed that they were affected after the updates their iPhones to iOS 13.5.

While most of the complaints that have surfaced online do suggest that the green tint does tend to disappear after just a little while, it is also said at the same time that it keeps coming back periodically and hence going on to bother the iPhone 11 users.
And so if it does in fact turn out to be a software problem, then Apple can actually fix it with a future iOS update – as the company is indeed currently running tests with iOS 13.5.5 beta. For now though, unfortunately enough for all the affected users, there isn’t an immediate solution. And so, they will have to wait until Apple addresses the bug.
