Qualcomm has recently gone on to announce the Quick Charge 3 Plus – which happens to represent the chip maker’s next widely used charging technology. With that said, the company is actually offering even faster charging as well as more cheap prices for future Android phones that will support the technology.
It will firstly be made available for the Snapdragon 765 and the Snapdragon 765G. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom will become the very first phone to support the new charging tech. The phone will feature with both Quick Charge 3 Plus as well as Quick Charge 4 Plus – making it the only phone to have support for both.
All in all, additional Snapdragon platform will also be supported and we’ll see more news popping up more and more as we progress further into 2020, however, unfortunately enough though, Qualcomm did not specify any other devices that buyers can expect to see the technology in for now.

Quick Charge 3 Plus will focus on to deliver super-fast charging while keeping the whole ordeal quite cheap and affordable. Qualcomm has suggested that the latest technology has the capabilities to charge a dead phone to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. If this does indeed turn out to be the case, then such speeds would represent a 35% improvement when compared with previous generations. Moreover, charging speeds will be delivered at a temperature that will actually be nine degrees cooler when compared to the suite followed today.
The Quick Charge 3 Plus technology will go on to support industry-standard USB A to USB-C cables as well as those accessories that work with scalable voltage with 20mV steps from Quick Charge 4.
It will also be fully compatible backwards, referring to the fact that it should indeed be able to support a wide range of accessories that device owners may already have in their possession. Of course such a fact just further goes on to build upon the affordability claims that have been laid down by Qualcomm.
