Starting today, PUBG Mobile will add key characters and weapons from AMC’s long-running zombie apocalypse series, The Walking Dead which once again is very popular TV series show much popular amongst the younger generation.
Moreover,users of the game, will now be able to enter the battlefield as some of the most iconic characters from the series which include the likes of, Rick Grimes, Negan, Michonne, and Daryl Dixon. In addition to things,users are also able to ride, Daryl’s iconic motorcycle to help stay in the safe zone, wield Michonne’s katana or Negan’s infamous baseball bat, Lucille. All of the aforementioned references can and will only be understood by proper Walking Dead fans.

Moreover,users can purchase these items and skins through in-app purchases or by winning challenges. The crossover will last until at least the early months of the upcoming 2020 year. The crossover is timed to promote the Season 10 Premiere of The Walking Dead, which is all set to air on the October 6 on AMC. The collaboration comes from a partnership which will supposedly happen between AMC and Tencent Games, which owns a stake in PUBG publisher Blue hole.
It is also worth noting that this will not mark the first time PUBG Mobile has announced a crossover. Earlier in the year, PUBG Mobile announced collaborations with Resident Evil 2 and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The crossover with Godzilla brought new outfits, Titan Grafitti, Godzilla coins and more.Fortnite, which is also another very popular game,has also been carrying out similar activities over the course of the last few years, the game has successfully collaborated with Avengers Infinity War, DC’s Batman and even the legendary assassin John Wick. So both games are looking to battle it out and well the fans, the fans are absolutely loving this.
