PTCL celebrates the spirit of Independence with the tribute to Pakistanis
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is celebrating the 71st Independence Day of Pakistan with a musical medley; blended with rich visuals, musical score and brilliant editing by the team behind the venture the Khumariyan Instrumental band. The song is titled; Hum Hain Pakistan; Hum Hain PTCL.
Shot on location ranging from the snow-covered peaks of Karakoram and northern areas to the coastline along Makran in Baluchistan; it takes the viewer along the length and breadth of the country imaginatively covering almost 3000 square KM of the stretch of the country. The visuals include scenic captures from Gilgit uptil the new port city of Gwadar as well.
The musical composition has been created by the leading Pakistani folk music band has used nearly all the musical instruments which are part of the cultural heritage of all the federating provinces of Pakistan. While the western instrumental music has been mixed intelligently and creatively, the musical impact is that of fusion or the best of the two trends; the result is a masterpiece of creativity which not just caters to the marketing aspect; rather it creates a mission statement for our beloved homeland Pakistan in an effective way which is the need of time in an external environment. A Pakistan which is beautiful in terms of its terrain, its people and their way of life; their happiness as well as sorrows; so beautifully embedded in their musical expression. The resultant beautiful melody is complemented by the amazing videography, highlighting the beauty of Pakistan and the resilience of Pakistanis.

Titled ‘Rhythm of Independence’, PTCL musical highlights the shared values of an everyday Pakistani, which are Powerful, Patriotic, Passionate, Pure, Proud, Pioneer, Pristine, Potential, Promising & Persistence. The thematic video shows, not only the mesmerizing beauty of Pakistan but also people; be they live in the villages or in the cities over live in the four provinces of the country. That depiction creates an impression of our beloved homeland whose people are hospitable and open to serve the world.
