Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inaugurated the new Telenor Pakistan Campus ‘345’ in Islamabad today. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Anusha Rahman, Minister of State for Information Technology & Telecom and high ranking officials of Telenor, Ministry and the PTA. The Prime Minister took a tour of the new Telenor Campus and experienced the digital products like Khushhal Zamindaar, Digital Birth Registration, Easypaisa app, WOWBOX and Goonj and appreciated Telenor Pakistan’s role in spearheading the digital revolution in the country.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations on development and launch of this iconic new campus that sets a higher bar for what an ideal workplace should look like,” said Prime Minister Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at the inaugural. “We are happy to see how Telenor has established itself as one of the country’s leading telecom operators and expanded its horizon to become the torchbearer of ICT-powered digital revolution in Pakistan. Telenor’s socio-economic contributions to the country are commendable. The Government has implemented facilitative policies for the telecom industry in Pakistan and as a result, their business is flourishing with widespread operations and innovative products and services that transform lives. I congratulate Telenor again for moving into their new state-of-the-art home and hope they stay passionate about empowering Pakistan.”

The newly established campus, called ‘345’, is an architectural marvel in itself and stands as a perpetual reminder of Telenor’s pledge to the people of Pakistan to usher in socioeconomic progress and human development on the back of latest technological innovations. The new state of the art workplace facility will enhance productivity and help accelerate the company’s progress towards its long-term investment and developmental goals in the country. While speaking on the occasion Ms. Anusha Rahman, Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications felicitated Telenor on successful inauguration of its new headquarters ‘345’. She said that “This occasion signifies the company’s trust in the telecom policies of the government long-term commitment to investment in the Pakistani economy and more importantly for empowering the people of Pakistan”. She wished Telenor further growth and innovative contribution to the sector after the inauguration of the headquarter facility.

Telenor Pakistan’s new home in the capital city’s serene neighborhood is being dubbed as an architectural landmark that sets new standards for the construction industry in Pakistan.
