Pakistan is in a familiar situation where it needs all the help it can get from other countries. Fortunately for Pakistan, it is getting that support. Iran and Turkey have come forward and condemned Indian atrocities on Indian muslims. Khamenei Tweeted:
The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre of Muslims in India. The govt of India should confront extremist Hindus & their parties & stop the massacre of Muslims in order to prevent India’s isolation from the world of Islam. #IndianMuslimslnDanger
To this, PM Khan had words of praise:
I want to thank Supreme Leader Khamenei, & President Erdogan, for speaking against the oppression & massacre of Muslims in India & Kashmiris in IOJK by the Hindu Supremacist Modi regime.
Sadly, few voices from the Muslim World are speaking out & condemning this; & more voices are being raised in the West condemning the Hindu Supremacist Modi regime’s massacre of Muslims in India & Kashmiris in IOJK.
Turkey has also previously stood with Pakistan against Indian oppression of Muslims. Pakistan is in a desperate situation where no action can be taken under the current political climate between the two neighbours.
The situation in India also needs worldwide attention, and even though these attacks have been condemned on a global level, there has been no decrease in the torture that muslims have been facing in India. According to latest reports, At least 44 people were killed and hundreds injured in the worst communal riots in the Indian capital in decades, triggered by clashes between supporters of a new citizenship law and those against it.
