Back in October of last year, Nokia finally launched the Nokia 3.1 Plus, and while Android Pie had already been released by Google, it was surprising for most to see the phone coming with Android 8.1 Oreo right out of the box. However, the users of the phones have finally got some good news, as HMD Global’s Chief Product officer announced that the Google’s latest android software is now rolling out for the phone.
The update will set the users back 1182MB, and will bring along itself a range of new features, which include the likes of : a new navigation setting menu along with new notifications, adaptive battery along with adaptive and optimized brightness levels, predictive applications actions, and finally, the Google security patch 2019-02.

The phone comes with a 3-inch HD+ display, and while other plus models do come with a notch, this is an area where the Nokia 3.1 Plus differs. The phone is powered by the Helio P22 processor, coming along with either 2 or 3 gigs of RAM, plus either 16 or 32 gigs of internal storage (which is indeed expandable).

On the rear of the phone there is present a 13MP primary sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor. The phone has an 8MP selfie camera, along with a fingerprint scanner which too is placed on the rear of the phone. It’s great to see the audio jack on the phone, however one might consider the fact that the phone possesses a MicroUSB port as a bit of a downgrade.
