Google latest android software is finally here, and while its been over a month since we’ve seen Pie hit the market, not exactly every phone has gotten the pie update. So if you’re amongst those wondering on the pie update, then this is the right guide for you.
Essential
The essential phone was amongst the very few phones that could grant access to the Android 9.0 open beta, and it’s also amongst the very first phones to get the consumers version of the Android 9.0 Pie as well. The update for the essential phone is available as of right now, and has been for quite some time now actually!
The pixels phones are obviously always first in the line to get the Android 9.0 Pie update, and same was the case this time round, as the update was available for the Pixel phones as soon as it got out – and will be available for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL as soon as both of them hit the market.
HMD was among the beta partners for Android 9.0 Pie, and now the update consumer update is made available for a Nokia phone – specifically, the Nokia 7 Plus. Other expected Nokia phones will also receive the update, and these range from the likes of the Nokia 8 Sirocco, to the likes of the Nokia 8, 7.1, 6.1 Plus, and the 6.1.
HTC
There are also a handful of HTC phones which are expected to receive the Pie update, and these include the HTC U12 Plus, U11 Plus, the U11, and the HTC U11 Life.

Huawei
There has been massive speculation going round about what Huawei phones will be getting the Pie update, and after the company stated that it was working to bring along the update to its phones, this made the proceedings all the more exciting. The phones that will be getting the Pie update coming from Huawei are : the Huawei P20 Pro, P20, the Mate 10 Pro the Mate 10, as well as the Mate 10 Porsche design.
OnePlus
What followed an open beta for Android 9.0 Pie on the OnePlus, follows the confirmation by Oneplus itself that it was rolling out the consumer version of the OS is now rolling out. The phones expected to receive the update, coming from OnePlus are : the Oneplus 6, and all the phones from there on to the OnePlus 3.
Samsung
There is evidence that Samsung has been working on the update for Google’s latest android version according to some leaks, and with regards to the testing going on, one can only hope that this time, Samsung won’t so sluggish to follow upon the update. The phones expected to receive an update coming from Samsung are : Note 9, S9 Plus, S9, Note 8, S8, S8 Plus and S8 Active.
Sony
Sony users also seem to be desperately waiting for that Pie update to finally come along, and as it seems, the phones that are expected to receive a Pie update coming from Sony are – the Xperia XZ 2, XZ 2 Premium, XZ 2 Compact, XZ1, XZ1 compact, XZ Premium, XA2, XA2 Ultra, and the XA2 Premium.
