Performances of old iPhones enhanced with iOS 12

Apple’s latest software, the iOS is up for download, and this download is available for not only the latest iPhones, such as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, but also the older models. Dating back to the iPhone 5s, even that particular phone is eligible for the iOS 12 upgrade, so if you are the owner of the phone, then you have reasons to be excited, not only because your old phone would be eligible for yet another upgrade, but also because of the fact that this software upgrade would actually bring about an enhancement in the performance as well.

Aside from the new tricks, Apple has promised that iOS 12 will bring about a performance boost over its predecessor, the iOS 11. This statement is backed by many, as even ArsTechnica went as far as stating that iOS 11 is indeed faster on the same hardware when compared to the iOS 12.

Both the 5s and the iPhone 6 Plus were tested in more than a few scenarios just to verify the claims that Apple had so proudly made. The situation is of quite the same lines with the iPhone 6 plus as well, as it is found out that the phone is on average 14 percent more faster running on iOS 12.

Amongst the statements that Apple made, one is not backed up. Also, another thing worth mentioning is the fact that the test devices were actually running iOS 12 GM.
