Pepsi shall continue as the official sponsorship partner of the Pakistan Cricket team for one more year with the option of extending the contract further when the contract ends of course. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have made it official after they made the announcement that they had extended the brand’s contract for one more year.
The Board issued a statement regarding the matter on Thursday and stated that the partnership will shall run until June 30 2021 and it is worth mentioning that during this time frame, Pakistan shall be taking on England in an upcoming Test and T20I series set to start from August 5, they will play the T20 World Cup, a home series against Zimbabwe and South Africa, and finally an away series against South Africa, New Zealand and Zimbabwe. The PepsiCo Pakistan’s Director for Marketing and Franchise, Mr. Saad Munawar Khan said, “We are proud to continue our much cherished journey with Pakistan cricket as the principal partner of the Pakistan men’s national cricket team.”

In addition to that, the PCB’s commercial director Babar Hamid said that he was very pleased and proud that Pepsi have reached an agreement with the with the Pakistan Cricket Board for another 12 months and that they are packed with excitement for the year ahead of them.
