Secretary Information Technology and Telecommunications, Maroof Afzal stated that Pakistan is now actually thriving with the Pakistan freelancing Industry in mind, as exports earning from this area is around a billion dollars per annum.
He further went on to add that information technology and Telecommunication is indeed the future, because of the fact that it is one of the largest – if not the largest self-employment sectors in Pakistan.
