In an urge to advance the space department of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Information Mr. Fawad Chaudhry has made a big announcement, according to which Pakistan would be sending its very first human astronaut to space by the year 2022.
The announcement came during a press event in Lahore today where Minister Mr. Fawad Chaudhry was addressing media. Well, it means within the next three years Pakistan would be sending its first human astronaut to space which itself would be great step.
He also mentioned the recent visit of the Prime Minister Imran Khan as PM continues his international amble on behalf of Pakistan and asking other nations to cooperate with Pakistan on economic, financial and infrastructure-related grounds.
It is important to mention here that Pakistan is already teaming up with China for its space program. In this regard, two of the satellites were launched into space by the Pakistani authorities in just this year.

To send first human astronaut into space, an initial understanding has been made between the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO) and a Chinese company. The federal cabinet also officially agreed and approved the mission today, the minister further reported.
Moreover, the Pakistani PM Imran khan is also scheduled to visit China on his maiden visit where he, expectantly would raise this project. In his visit to china, Imran Khan is expected to meet the Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
As I mentioned earlier that has Pakistan launched two native satellites into the orbit in July this year, well that was also sent in space using a Chinese Long March 2C rocket. It seems that China has helped Pakistan a lot in this sector.
Afterward, it was declared that Pakistan would also be launching a new space center facility of its own to smooth the progress of the designing and production of satellites. The latest confession by Federal Minister for Information Mr. Fawad Chaudhry is a great gesture by new government that wants progress and evolution in Pakistan space department.
