So word has come from New Delhi that Pakistan has started getting in to the heads of the Army generals in India, as the fear of Pakistan Air Force in the previous Balakotscene has in turn left India with no choice but to look for reinforcements in there ranks as according to the Islamabad Times, the Indian Air Force have put in word to Russia to acquire from them 33 new fighter Jets in a bid strengthen there Air Defence against the Air Force of Pakistan. In what seems to be desperate measures taken by the Air force of India to in turn boost the strength of there Air Defences against the power that is Pakistan, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is pushing for a proposal to acquire 33 new combat aircraft which according to the latest news,includes, 21 MiG-29s and 12 Sukhoi 30s.

In addition to that, Indian government sources have revealed that the said proposal by the IAF is likely to be taken up before a high-level meeting of the Defence Ministry in the next few weeks, Furthermore,the acquired 12 Su-30 MKIs will in turn be added to the arsenal toreplace the number of aircraft which were lost or grounded by IAF in a series of different accidents. The 12 additional Sukhois will help the Indian Air Force to maintain its fleet of 272 Su-30MKI fighters. The latest word has hinted on the possible orders of 272 Su-30 fighter jets over a period of 10-15 years in different batches and senior officers feel that this number of planes acquired so far should be enough toservice India’s heavy-weight aircraft requirement.
Moreover,the 21 MiG 29s that the Indian Air Force is planning to acquire will also be from Russia, who have in turn offered to sell these planes in a bid to help the IAD meet there requirements of acquiring new aircrafts which they can use to strengthen there Air Force. To end things of, an Indian source has given us the following statement in this regard, “As perplans, the MiG-29s on offer would be of the latest upgraded MiG-29s which are already in service with the IAF . The radars and other equipment on the planes would also be of the latest standards,”
