At the end of last month, both the Huawei P40 as well as the Huawei P4 Pro went on to receive approval from the 3C certification of China. Indeed both these phones have also been certified by China’s TENAA authority. But for now though, the specs haven’t exactly popped up yet on TENAA. The speculation concludes that both the upcoming flagship phones from Huawei are set to go official on the 26th of this month and now, ahead of the launch, the P40 Pro has made an appearance on Geekbench – making the way for some key specs to be revealed.
The Huawei ELS-NX9 smartphone which made an appearance on Geekbench 5 seems to be a different country variant of the Huawei P40 Pro. The device went on to manage a score of 776 in the single core test of Geekbench 5. Furthermore, it went on to accumulate a score of 3182 in the multi-core test.
The phone happens to be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin chipset which has a base frequency of 1.95GHz. It actually seems to be the Kirin 990 5G chipset. It is in fact the very same SoC which provided the juice for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G smartphone that was subject to being made official in the very last quarter of last year.
The P40 Pro’s Geekbench listing furthermore made the case for revealing that the device will feature with eight gigs of RAM. The phone runs on the latest from Google in the Android 10 OS. The P40 series models might not arrive with the Google Mobile Services (GMS). Rather, the devices may feature with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
