Both the Huawei P40 as well as the Huawei P40 Pro are set to launch later in this month. However, other members of Huawei’s latest flagship series have already been announced. Just last week, the Huawei P40 Lite saw its announcement in Europe. And now, it is the P40 Lite E’s time to shine as the phone has been announced in Poland.
The P40 Lite E features as a rather similar device to the Huawei Y7P – bringing about speculation that is a rebranded version of the Huawei Y7p. The phone arrives with a 6.39-inch Punch FullView display. The hole is ever so present on the left hand side of the display of the device. The Chinese manufacturer has also commented that the screen of the phone goes on to cover more than 90 percent of the front panel. The resolution of the screen is 1560 x 720 (HD+) and it features as an LCD panel.
On the inside of the device is present the Kirin 710F processor which is coupled with four gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of internal storage. There also happens to be integrated within a MicroSD card slot which of course allows the users to add additional storage – that of 512GB.
On the rear side is present a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera + 8MP f/2.4 ultra wide camera, and finally, a 2MP depth of field camera. On the other hand, the front of the device sees a front facing camera of 8MP.
Also on the back of the device is present a fingerprint scanner. To keep the lights running, there is a 4000mAh battery inside which goes on to support 5V 2A charging via the Micro USB port. The phone also goes on to feature with dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, as well as an audio jack. The device runs EMUI 9.1 which is based on Android 9 Pie right out of the box. Also, there is present Huawei’s Mobile Services app within the device to counter the affects that have been laid down with respect to the US trade ban.
