P30 Lite launched in India

Huawei has launched its latest phone – a midrange version of its flagship : the Huawei P30 Lite. The launch of this particular phone took place in India. The phone was announced along with the Huawei P30 Pro, however, the regular P30 won’t actually be made available in the particular region.

The P30 Lite features with a 6.15-inch Full HD+ (2321 x 1080) display. The phone features with a waterdrop notch, the Kirin 710 chipset, either 4 or 6 gigs of RAM, and finally, 128 gigs of internal storage.

On the rear side of the device is a fingerprint scanner along with a triple camera setup. The triple camera setup consists of a main 24MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera (with a 120-degree field of view), and finally, a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is present a camera coming in at 32MP.

The phone comes with a 3340mAh battery, with the luxury of 18-watt charging. The phone also features with USB-C connectivity, and GPU Turbo 2.0 support – which is said to offer better processing as well as reduced drain of the battery when playing compatible games.

The phone is priced $287 for the 4 gig RAM version, while the model with 6 gigs of RAM will set you back $330.

The latest mid-ranger phone from Huawei makes its debut in an Indian market which has almost been spoiled in recent years with quality, low-cost devices, featuring other phones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs storage coming in at only $244. The latest mid-range Galaxy phone : the Samsung Galaxy A50 is priced quite similar to the P30 Lite – for the phone’s 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models. While the Galaxy A50 comes with only 64 gigs of internal storage, many have been calling it Samsung’s best mid-ranger phone for years now.

So like I stated above, there seem to be an endless line of options for anyone looking to get their hands on a decent enough mid-range smartphone in India, and hence, it will indeed be quite interesting to see what the customers prefer.
