Not so long ago, it was being reported that Oppo will soon be launching its new ColorOS custom user interface in the month of November. Now, it has been officially confirmed by the company itself that this indeed is the case. Oppo has confirmed that its latest operating system will go official in its home country of China – and this launch is to take place on the 20th of November.
What new features this user interface will bring along with it haven’t exactly been confirmed, however, the launch poster does go on to indicate some of the features that we may see. Seemingly, there is the suggestion that the ColorOS 7 will actually be focusing a great deal on the overall improvement in performance, along with improvements in gaming experience along with some other aspects.

The Vice President of the Chinese manufacturer : Shen Yiren claimed a little while ago that the ColorOS 7 will actually be released for the company’s flagship device in the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom edition. However, apart from this, not much is really known about the OS.
Earlier in the month, the CEO of Realme India revealed that his company too will be embracing the ColorOS 7. Indeed he revealed that Realme will not be launching the RealmeOS as was rumored. Instead it has been revealed that Realme will be on the receiving end of an exclusive customized version of the ColorOS 7 – designed specially for Realme smartphones.
Oppo joins the list of other Chinese manufacturers that have already announced a newer and updated version of their very own custom Android skin, as both Xiaomi and Huawei were the first ones to arrive in that respect.
It is expected of course that since Google’s latest version of Android is now out, Oppo will be basing its latest ColorOS 7 on it. What additional features the company has planned for us remain to be seen. It is expected though that a major overhaul will take place when interface design is taken into consideration.
