OnePlus latest flagship phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro made its way into the smartphone market no sooner than the 14th of May. Featuring with the company’s first ever triple camera setup, the phone goes on to offer premium features all round.
The people that have already bought the phone are fortunate enough now to be greeted with a firmware update right out of the box. The update is weighed at around 125MB and it brings the phone up to speed with Google’s April security patch. Additionally, this update also goes on to add a new feature to the OnePlus laboratory screen, with the feature being called as “DC dimming.” Such a feature goes on to adjust the power current going to the display while also going on to reduce the flicker at lower brightness levels.
There have also been quite some improvements brought in respect to the camera, as there have been some added features like Fnatic mode for gaming. Furthermore, it has also brought along support for VoLTE as well as VoWiFi for Thailand AIS. The changelog has also made hints as to a more smoother scrolling experience to go along with the general bugfixes throughout the whole of the user interface.

Having a triple camera setup, the main camera within the setup goes on to use a large ½” Sony IMX586 sensor with 48MP resolution. Along this, it also has a quite bright f/1.6 aperture, OIS, as well as EIS. The new feature called UltraShot enables HDR+ (multi frame stacking), and this gives the camera the capabilities to capture four times as much light, as well as super resolution.
The phone also comes with a huge battery of 4000mAh. It has the luxury of the new warp charge 30 (5V/6A). Considering warp charge’s capabilities to control the temperature, users will now have the option to freely play games while the phone is on charge, since it won’t heat up. On the front of the device comes a pop-up selfie camera, which consists of a 16MP sensor, and has also been tested to more than 300,000 cycles.
