OnePlus 7 on the horizons?

The last quarter of 2018 saw the release of the OnePlus 6T, with the release taking place in multiple regions, including China. The base model of the smartphone was priced at $506 in the home market, and just today, the Chinese manufacturer has a permanent price cut of $60 on all variants of the smartphone. There is speculation that OnePlus is looking to clear the existing stock of the OnePlus 6T in order to make way for the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone – hence the price cut.

The OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The phone offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen of the phone happens to be shielded by the Gorilla Glass 6. The phone gets its juice from the Snapdragon 845, while runs on OxygenOS 9.0.5 which happens to be based on Android 9 Pie OS.

On the back of the phone is present a dual camera setup of 16MP + 20MP, while on the front, we have a 16MP selfie camera. The phone lacks support for both the microSD card as well as the 3.5mm audio jack, while it comes packed with a 3700mAh battery which happens to support 20W fast charging.

The OnePlus 6 was announced by the Chinese brand back in May of 2018 and so there are rumors that state that the company might as well launch the OnePlus 7 by either next month or early June. While not much is known about the phone as of now, it is known that the Snapdragon 855 will be where the phone will be getting all its juice from.
