Via an official announcement on the company’s website, OnePlus has gone on to confirm exactly when its latest and upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 6T will launch. The official date for the launch has been revealed to be the 30th of October.This means that the unveiling this time around for a phone coming fromthe T lineup is arriving a tad earlier than before – especially when you take into consideration the fact that the OnePlus 5T arrived on the 16th of November, last year.
While the phone has yet to be unveiled, we pretty much know every detail there is to know about the upcoming phone. OnePlus confirmed that the phone will have an in display fingerprint scanner, and this confirmation arrived after weeks of speculation. Other than that, it is expected that the phone will arrive with a snapdragon 845 processor, and will be running an Android Pie based version of OxygenOs, straight out of the box.
The phone will most likely arrive with a 3700mAh battery, and if this does turn out to be true, then it is great news for the OnePlus fans and the potential customers, because after the let down that came with the OnePlus 6 with regards to the battery capacity, this time, it would seem that OnePlus has surely delivered.

While the launch date has been made official, we still don’t have the luxury to possess any official images of the front of the phone, however, what is expected, is that this time around, the phone will possess a much smaller notch, to the one which was found on the OnePlus 6.
While the presence of an in display fingerprint scanner, and the improvement over the battery capacity would certainly impress the potential customer, the one let down that will come with the phone is the fact that it will not possess a headphone jack. However, the phone will come with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, so you’ll still be able to use an older set of headphones.
With the launch of the phone coming at the very end of October, it looks set that OnePlus will have the final say in a month which will see the launch of a handful of phones, coming from the likes of Google, Samsung, and more.
