Nokia has most recently chided another brand over ‘mega display’. Obviously, this satire indicates a mobile phone, however, what isn’t obvious is as to exactly which mobile phone the company is pointing towards. Though it isn’t exactly obvious, there is every chance of this hit back being associated with Nokia 7.1.
Just recently, a couple of days ago in fact, Nokia went on to officially unveil the US-bound Android One powered Nokia 7.1 to the world, and this turned out to be a very recent, not too flashy mid ranger phone – something which we had come to expect, following the weeks of speculation prior to the unveiling.
One of the signature features that the phone brings along with it is the fact that it contains an HDR 10-compliant 5.84” display, and this has especially impressed more than a handful of people, because of the fact that we’re not accustomed to such premium quality in a mid range phone. Just consider the screen in a $349 starting price, it really can’t get any better than that!

Aside from the brilliant display, the phone remains to be seen as a cost-conscious device, with more than adequate hardware at its disposal – which includes a snapdragon 636 processor, 3 or 4 gigs of RAM, and 32 or 64 gigs of internal storage, depending on which variant you end up with. Not only this, but the phone also has dual cameras, both at the front, and at the back. And like I said, all this is running on stock Android, and will be available in the US.
So what about the latest teaser that Nokia has just presented us with? Well, it wouldn’t take a huge stroke of imagination to think that this hint is well and truly with regards to the Nokia 7.1 Plus, or whatever device ends up getting that ‘mega display’ which has been so well advertised. However, since the rumors have been speculating over the Nokia 7.1 Plus, and taking into consideration the teaser, it probably is likely that it is actually the phone that Nokia is pointing towards.
With the latest speculation in mind, and the latest rumors, the Nokia 7.1 Plus is likely to carry a 6.18 inch display, and to be honest, this isn’t exactly what I’d call a ‘mega display’, especially when you consider the 6.5 inch iPhones, and the 6.4 inch galaxies. However, this is not to say that 6.18 inch isn’t a sufficient enough display – it really is.
