Nokia adopts Zeiss top of line lenses for its smartphones. Google is apparently on the verge of pitching the idea to other smartphone manufacturers that just a single lens camera in the back of the pixel 3 phones will deliver just as good a result as the two or three lens camera setups we have been seeing in the market in the most recent of times, and a trend which will probably be of continuation, even with Google’s claim.
However, at the same time, what’s puzzling is the fact that even though with Google is about to pitch such an idea to the wider audience, it is rumored that the Pixel 3 itself will have a dual-lens camera setup on the front. At the same time, like I’ve stated before, many companies ranging from the likes of Apple, Huawei, Samsung etc. are already implementing triple-lens cameras on their respective phones, or are at least rumored to be doing so. Now, with the latest reports in mind, we’ve heard something of great significance and surprise too – a new leak has suggested that HMD Global is about to bring on a Nokia phone, with five cameras present on its back.
As of now, even though some pictures have been leaked all over the internet about the upcoming mysterious phone, not much is revealed. With some of the information available, it looks as if we will be getting a rather large device, which is somewhat expected – I mean, you’d have to have a considerable size to accommodate a camera setup of that magnitude, wouldn’t you?

In accordance to the rumors, there will be five distinct lenses and a camera flash. It’s unclear really as to what those extra cameras are actually supposed to deliver, aside from the better zooming capabilities you’d expect when in comparison to anyone else in the business.
No one has gone as far as Nokia is rumored to go. There is a triple camera setup present on the market at the moment, with the Huawei P20 Pro in mind, however, that is where the list starts, and where it ends. Even in the coming future, we’re expecting no more than three lenses from the big players in the smartphone business. In the coming months, three flagships in particular are expected to have triple camera setups, and these include the likes of the Samsung Galaxy s10, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and the OnePlus 6T as well, whose debut is expected to take no more than one more month.
