Apple has finally decided to make an update into the beats after three long years. The studio 3 versions are now available from Apple and other retailers for $349.95. it comes with internal upgrading and longer battery life.
The cans are a tad bulkier than its predecessors with an over ear covering but they still retain their signature look. The Studio 3 come in a range of six colours—more neutrals and warm undertones— and two of which are limited edition.
The US based company says that they enhancements make it easier for you to listen to what you intend to rather than your surroundings.
Apple has emphasised that the real updates were made inside with what they call Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelation— Pure ANC. It’s a fancy new algorithm that adjusts noise cancellation according to your surroundings and takes about 5 seconds to set in. It picks up the noise through mics and shifts accordingly and keeps adjusting according to the change it records. Pure ANC plays the content you want to listen to against the noise cancellation for the optimum experience.
The Studio 3 Wireless include Apple’s W1 technology which ensures efficient wireless connectivity with all nearby iPhones, iPads and Macs. Beats says the headset has a 22-hour battery with noise cancellation activated – about 40 hours with it turned off. In case of low battery charging it for 10 minutes will provide 3 hours worth function. They claim that voice quality is not lessened when noise cancellation is powered off. The headsets are integrated with Bluetooth Class 1 tech which allows it to make long range connectivity.
They still use a micro USB connector, though. Both USB-C and Lightning and they don’t drown out the sound completely but they do the pretty good job for what they’re worth. But it’s much better from the previous version.
