So one of the leading brands in technology, popular for there amazing search engine, Google just recently launched a pretty light gallery app which they have dubbed as Gallery Go which can be seen as an alternative to the Google photos. The company previously launched Google Go, Maps Go and YouTube Go, all in order to help those who find space running low on there mobile phone devices and well now the company is trying to get photo sync and management functions in the lighter version of the application.
The company stated that the new app is quite similar to Google Photos as the Gallery Go also uses machine learning to automatically organize one’s photos. However, opposite to the heavy version, Gallery Go can be accessed without high-speed internet or cloud backup, and also takes up much less space on your device.
Furthermore, the Gallery Go app is of only 10MB size which if all things considered is only a teeny tiny piece when compared with the 130MB size of the Google Photos app. The new mobile app comes with all the standard features of the traditional Photos app by Google including auto-organization, photo finder and easy editing across multiple devices.

Earlier this month, Spotify also introduce its lite version called Spotify Lite, which weighs only a tenth of original Spotify’s size. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have also released similar lightweight replicas of the social media apps that cover very fewer storage spaces and use fewer data.
Google in that regard said that , “Gallery Go will automatically organize your photos by the people and things you take photos of, so you can easily find your favorite selfie, remember where you had the best puff puff, and keep track of important documents.”
