Rumors are now turning their attention to Motorola, as there is now speculation that the company will soon launch a foldable phone. It has been reported that the company has plans to bring back the Moto RAZR flip phone as a foldable device. There are patent documents which contain the images with regards to the alleged phone, and these were spotted in the previous week. The images had gone on to reveal both the front, and the back design of the device. Also, Yanko Design has gone on to share concept renders of the RAZR 2019 foldable phone – the design has indeed been created on the basis of the patent images of the phone.

The 3D visualizations of the phone show that the phone will have a squarish shape when it is indeed folded. When the device is opened, a longer display, which is assumed to be 19:8 aspect ratio runs right from the top to the bottom. It’s likely that the RAZR 2019 will also sport a notch. Considering the fact that the phone contains a foldable display, the hinge which is present at the center is not really visible when the device is actually opened.
The upper half on the rear side goes on to include a rather small display, with a single-lens camera, which happens to be accompanied by an LED flash. If and when the device is closed, the small screen will go and allow the users to see notifications. A fingerprint scanner is fitted on the lower half of the device.

The RAZR phones have always been known for a thin profile, and it is expected that the RAZR 2019 won’t be any different. At this stage, we don’t actually have any info over the specs of the phone, however, the speculation surrounding the price tag of the smartphone, with talk of a $1500 price tag would suggest that the phone would come with the most premium of specs.
