So after two years, Motorola is looking all set and ready to up the ante and are looking to launch a flagship device set to give competition to all. The Lenovo-owned OEM has found a way back into the limelight with the release of its clamshell folding phone, the Razr 2019. It seems that the company is gearing up to make more launches this year and are not planning of going away anytime soon. Now though the smartphone in discussion is still a few weeks away from its inevitable release, through Pricebaba’s and Steve Hemmerstoffer’s collab, we get our first look at the premium device. Other than a number of renders, a 360 degrees video of the device was also released.
The first thing that we were able to see in the video and the renders is the absolutely amazing waterfall display which comes with one of the smallest punch holes we have ever seen, for the selfie camera. Moreover, if the renders are to be believed this is going to be the smallest cutout on any smartphone to date. According to Hemmerstoffer, the smartphone should come with a display somewhere in between 6.5 and 6.8 inches and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Hence, the phone will boast an OLED display panel.
Moving on to the back end of the device, the renders give us a glimpse of a triple sensor camera system in an oval housing. On the right of the camera system, we see another smaller oval aisle that is home to a dual-LED flash. Apart from this, two noise-canceling mics are also installed at the top and bottom of the camera system. Other design features that we were able to dig out in the phone’s video was the inclusion of USB Type-C charging port, ejectable SIM card tray, power button, volume rocker, and surprisingly, a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the internal, well analysts suggest that the smartphone will probably feature a 6.67-inch 2340×1080 curved 90Hz display, Snapdragon 865 processor, 5170mAh battery, and up to 12GB of RAM.
