Today, Pakistan’s emerging superstar Mohammad Abbas has won the show as he has taken 5 wickets in the first innings of the second Test against Australia and the story just not end here. With his five-wicket haul, Abbas has now got 54 wickets in just 10 Test matches. Currently, he is the only Pakistani pace bowler who got this title of most Test wickets after 10 Test matches.
Moreover, the talented lad who is a right-arm pacer also has the best average for a test bowler with 50 or more wickets in the last hundred years.
It is important to mention here that only three English fast bowlers GA Lohmann, JJ Ferris and William Barnes last played in 189, had superior averages than Abbas.
Through his magical spell, Abbas has proved that his selection was a right choice. The young player has been phenomenal with the ball ever since his inclusion against West Indies last year.
Due to his dangerous spell earlier in the day, Australian top order dismissed and returned to pavilion at just 145 in response to Pakistan’s 282.

Not to know, he has already twice taken 5 wickets in his short Test career .But, this time it was his best-ever figure 5/33, isn’t amazing?
In first inning of test match against Australia, Abbas dismissed Usman Khawaja (the hero of the last Test match) for 3 score and then sent the night watchman Peter Siddle back to the pavilion at runs to his name.
Then he easily sent away Shaun Marsh (3) and Treves Head (14) in the first hour of the day two which left Australia stumbling on 56/4.
The 28-year-old lad then clean bowled Mitchel Starc which had helped Australia to get a face-saving total otherwise Australian could face a more terrible situation.
Well, the party is not over here as the young pacer is yet to hold the ball in the second innings of Australia. So, wait and watch as hopefully this time we may win the test match. Although we could expect anything shock from our batting side but I’m sure this kind of bowling attack can do magical things.
