So tensions have seen a rise in the heaven on earth area of Kashmir, with India displaying hideous amount of force in the area to spread a sense of fear among the community of Kashmir. Moreover, it has been found that the mobile phone networks and internet services have in fact been cut in Indian-occupied Kashmir. According to recent sources, a sense of war between India-Pakistan started almost 10 days after the newly elected Government of India deployed somewhat 10,000 troops and according to recent reveals, a further 70,000 have also been reportedly deployed at a later stage according to AFP. Well known and up to date international media platforms such as The Guardian have confirmed that prominent politicians in Indian-administered Kashmir have been placed under house arrest, in order to completely shut down any form of retaliation from the community whereas communications to Kashmir valley have been cut off following a security crackdown, hence causing a state of fear among st the local people residing there.

As per the reports, Indian authorities had imposed a curfew in India-occupied Kashmir since last week and have also shut down communication networks including private mobile networks, internet services, and telephone landlines which have been cut by the armed forces of India. Many prominent districts of the occupied area are now place under heavy restrictions and it is feared that India is preparing to dismantle Kashmir’s independent status, which according to international law, prevents people from outside of the state from buying land in the territory.
Mehbooba Mufti who was once an ally of BJP and its leader Modi said:
“How ironic that elected representatives like us who fought for peace are under house arrest. The world watches as people & their voices are being muzzled in J&K. The same Kashmir that chose a secular democratic India is facing oppression of unimaginable magnitude. Wake up India.”
