Microsoft is also getting high to nourish the startup ecosystem around the globe. In this regard, the company has committed $500 million for a new and innovative programme with aiming to help raise start-ups, providing resources like Azure credits and sales support.
“Microsoft for Startups” will provide the access to technology, go-to-market and community benefits to facilitate startups so they can grow their customer and revenue support.
Charlotte Yarkoni, Corporate Vice President, Growth and Ecosystems at Microsoft, said in a blog post late on 14 February.
“We are committing $500 million over the next two years to offer joint sales engagements with startups, along with access to our technology and new community spaces”.
For this purpose, the big tech giant Microsoft has over 40,000 sales representatives and hundreds of thousands of partners to meet the criteria and assist the startups to grow.

On the other hand, the purpose of the programme is to provide dedicated resources to arrange startup marketing and sales teams to efficiently and effectively sell their Cloud solutions to enterprise organizations in partnership with Microsoft’s worldwide sales organization and partner ecosystem.
Furthermore, the programme offers startups with up to $120,000 in free of charge Azure credits, enterprise grade technical support and development tools in order to support their languages of their choice and preference.

Yarkoni who is Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, said,
“Over the next month (March), we will open the doors on new Microsoft Reactor spaces in London, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Berlin, Shanghai and Beijing”
