Leaks Here is all you need to know about LG G7 ThinQ. May 2 is not far when LG G7 ThinQ will be unveiled at Metropolitan West in Manhattan, New York, while the next day IPark Mall in Seoul is also ready for this event. The leaked images and rumours for this device will let nothing hidden before its unveiling ceremony, expectedly.
According to the rumours we got up to the time, the LG G7 ThinQ powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset could come with a 6-inch display, alongside an iris scanner and dedicated AI button on board.
According to Evan Blass leaks it might feature a 6-inch 18:9 Full Vision display, with an MLCD+ panel, a fairly new technology. It might be capable of 800-nit brightness with less battery consumption.
However, the latest report from ETnews tells us a different story as the phone (rumoured previously to come in 5 colours) is rumoured to come in two versions with one having an OLED display and the other with an LCD display.
A notch, a Google Assistant button, and a headphone jack as well as a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone make the smartphone really smart one.

Both the models are expected to be the same in terms of specs and design, but the screen.
The phone is expected to feature the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chipset, just like the Galaxy S9.
Unfortunately, the phone might not get an upgrade in the memory department ax It’s said to come with 4GB of RAM & 64GB of storage like its predecessor.
G7 ThinQ is also expected to have a dual-camera setup on board featuring 16MP sensors with f/1.6 lenses. AI features are also said to be on board.
The smartphone is rumored to come with stereo speakers and HDR imaging, as well as IP68 rating for protection against water and dust.
Blass also talks about wireless charging, but it is not confirmed if it will be available globally or exclusive to the U.S. like with the G6.
In addition to a fingerprint sensor, the LG G7 ThinQ is also expected to sport an iris scanner; though not a new feature, as already seen on a few Samsung devices, it would be a first for LG phones.
The rumor for iris scanner is based on a patent, first it got spotted by LetsGoDigital. On paper, the scanner appeared to be more advanced than the one in Samsung devices.
Iris scanner is supposed to get the job done in various lighting conditions by adjusting to allow the device for variations in pupil size.
Another report claims that the G7 ThinQ will be 5G-enabled, and will allow for super-fast download speeds.
Expandable storage Android Oreo, a headphone jack are also the expected specs of LG G7 ThinQ, alongside a Quad DAC for an improved audio experience.
