Not too many days are left till 2018 comes to a halt, and with regards to the records set, along with all the new trends that have been set, it has been quite an intriguing year – and we expect nothing different from next year, either. With that being said, Huawei is set to launch the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro next year, and according to a tender which has surfaced online goes on to show the phone’s design, along with the key features that it may or may not come with.
The Huawei P20 Pro made history this year as it became the first phone ever to feature with three rear cameras. The phone’s successor is set to feature with an extra camera when it launches into the market next year, however unfortunately enough for Huawei, this time around, the company won’t be making history with the four rear cameras, as a phone, the Samsung Galaxy A9/A9s has already taken up the title of becoming the first phone ever to feature with four rear cameras. The non-pro version of the Huawei P30 will feature with three rear cameras, and this will be one more than what the non-pro version of the Huawei P20 featured.
With accordance to the reports from the XDA Developers, only three of the four cameras present on the Huawei P30 will be used for the purposes of taking pictures. The fourth is a ToF (time of flight) camera, and this will be used for the purposes of 3D face scanning and modeling. However, much impressive is the fact that one camera amongst all the ones present on the P30 Pro is a telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. Though Huawei will make do with a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.

The render also goes on to show that the four cameras are arranged in a vertical manner. Three of the sensors are in a single housing along with an LED flash and laser focus module, which would between the first lens and the other lenses. The fourth lens actually belongs to a different housing, however, is on the same vertical line as the others.
The P30 ditches the rectangular notch for the water-drop notch, which Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, has gone on to term as the Dewdrop notch display. The switching to a display which has a smaller notch means that the screen-to-body ratio of the phone will obviously be higher.

It is expected that the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro will both launch in March, and will be powered by the Kirin 980 processor, running EMUI 9.0, which will be based on Android Pie out of the box.
