It seems that the next James Bond feature film will not have a woman be in the main role of agent 007, this was said by the film’s producer in an interview, as speculation mounts about who could replace Daniel Craig as the legendary agent 007. Daniel Craig, 51, is set to step down from the throne of the famous English agent after the release of the upcoming Bond film titled, “No Time to Die”, which is set to have its release in April this year.
Rumours have already been circulating around as to who will take the mantle from the hands of Daniel Craig and if or if not the next Bond film will have a female actor in the main role of the film. Barbara Broccoli who is the producer of this chain of films has in turn confirmed to Variety that it would definitely be a man.

The producer also added that “He can be of any colour, but he will be male,” stated the producer of the film, Broccoli alongside Michael G. Wilson. It should be noted that the James Bond franchise is one of the movie world’s most lucrative, and it should be known that the 2015’s “Spectre” rolled in $880 million at the box office worldwide, while “Skyfall” in 2012 grossed more than $1 billion globally which are some very solid numbers.
Broccoli, while dismissing the idea that a female should play the character of the famous Agent 007, said: “I’m not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that.”. Well the last movie in Daniel Craig’s tenure will release in April and James Bond fans all over the world can not wait to feast there eyes on it.
