Islamabad, Office of District Magistrate has issued a letter which states that In order to avoid any untoward incident at flag hoisting Ceremony being held on 14th of August 2016 at Convention Centre Islamabad, It is requested that the concerned authority should reach out to the Telecom Partners to order the closure of Mobile Services.
So according to the letter, the Mobile Service will remain close From 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on 14th August 2016.
It is the responsibility of Team Netmag to inform its subscribers living in Islamabad about the closure of Mobile Phone services so that they can inform their loved ones as well.
This is not the first time that the government has issued orders on the closure of mobile phone services. There had been several events that took place in the past in which government has ordered for the closure. Once of the example is the Sitting of Tahir-ul-Qadri and Imran khan which took place at D chowk.
