The upcoming Intel Core i5-9600K have stolen the show even before its launch as its leaked benchmark results shows the performance of its new mainstream processor under severe workloads at both stock speeds and when overclocked.
The Intel Core i5-9600K comes with six cores and six threads, along with 9MB of L3 cache. And this processor aimed at more mainstream users, rather than enthusiasts.
The latest leak is revealed by a Chinese video streaming website, in which they showed the performance of new chip as it was being used in an MSI Z390 MEG Godlike motherboard with 16 GB of DDR4.
According to the information provided in video, the Intel Core i5-9600K have a steady frequency of 4.60GHz single core and 4.3 GHz across all cores when running intensive multi-thread workloads.
Well, to be honest this is very remarkable results, and should see the Intel Core i5-9600K presents a very fine upgrade over its predecessor, the Intel Core i5-8600K.

Awesome overclock
On the other hand, the video also shows how good the Intel Core i5-9600K can be overclocked, and again the results are awesome. The chip is overclocked to 5.2GHz with a voltage of 1.507V, in the video. Well, that’s a heavy boost over the stock speeds, and it’s especially notable as the natives in the video are using Thermalright Silver Arrow Extreme air cooler.
Even though that’s a high-end air cooler, it likely shows the overclocking chops of the Intel Core i5-9600K without having to use other intensive cooling methods.
Along with other 9th generation processors, Intel has already released that the Intel Core i5-9600K will have a new STIM (Soldered Thermal Interface Material). But, in the video we see temperatures rising over 90c when at full load across all cores.
The official Intel Core i5-9600K launch will be on October 19 along with the rest of the 9th generation and the latest leak comes ahead of it. Well, although these results are inspiring, but always in case of leaked benchmarks you should take them with a pinch of salt.
