CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the CM eRozgar scheme today at the first National Freelancing Conference. This scheme is in the collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board PITB under Tech Hub. This program will train the students to the level where they will be able to turn to account the international market.
The CM said, “The program is a crucial need of time. Providing jobs to the youth is a challenge that we have to convert into an opportunity by taking such initiatives that would empower our future generations.”
Pakistan is a huge market with thousands of freelancers who need the right training to explore the worldwide opportunities. The eRozgar program can be very helpful in this case.
The inspiration of the eRozgar program
Mr. Umar Saif shared the real inspiration behind this program. He told the story of matriculated student Muhammad Arif who started earning by freelancing. Umar went to the CM giving him the idea of a youth program that can empower the youth of the country. Keep that in mind that youth makes up the 60% of the total population of Pakistan.
In these times, the eRozgar scheme can be of great help. Every year thousands of graduates go for searching jobs and it gets difficult for the government to create jobs for all of them.
The National Freelancing Convention
The National Freelancing Convention was held today at the Arfa Software Park where a large number of companies had set their stalls. They are providing information regarding freelancing and blogging. Also, the WordPress meetup was held today that was a great attraction for everybody at NFC.
