Many well known smartphone manufacturers around the globe such as Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei and Samsung happen to be working on an In-display selfie camera technology. While we’re still waiting to see which phone becomes the very first in to feature with an In-display camera, a report at the start of this year actually claimed that it might be the Nokia 9.3 Pureview flagship phone. And now, more reports are coming through, with the speculation concluding that HMD Global may even make the news official by the third quarter of this year. These reports of course are amongst all those that have previously claimed and still do that Nokia will indeed launch the Nokia 9.3 Pureview with its front camera integrated within the display.
The claims are there that the phone will actually be made available with the PureDisplay V3. Not only will there be present enhanced PureDisplay features, but the display is said to support up to 120Hz refresh rate.
It has been said further that HMD Global has also been testing the pop-up selfie camera solution in order to promote the full-display within its flagship smartphone. However it seems that the company has its heart set on the In-display functionality – probablydown to the fact that the company is indeed confident enough in the stability regard for the technology to be integrated within its upcoming flagship.
