In Pakistan, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has augmented the price of its SUV, Toyota Fortuner reportedly. According to the previous record, the automobile was available for 5,249,000 Rs but currently it supports the price tag of Rs.53,99,000, according to the reports by PakWheels.
Following the disappointing review of the first generation of Fortuner, the company has introduced the second generation Toyota Fortuner very recently. The second generation Toyota Fortuner features 2TR – FE petrol engine and the 6-Speed-sequential transmission that makes it a more luxurious in design and premium look as compared to its predecessor.
The raised price is exclusive of taxes and any kind of extra charges that you’ll have to pay while buying this 7 seater beast of an automobile. The retails of cars and SUVs have sky rocketed in the country due to the monopoly of the few brands, that is to break in the coming few years expectedly, all thanks to the new auto policy of 2016.
The SUV had been first introduced in Pakistan in the year 2013 when Indus Motors started its local assembly in the Pakistan. Toyota Fortuner is now available in petrol variant but as we have earlier reported that the company is also planning to introduce its Diesel variant in the country.
The diesel variant of Fortuner is present in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Philipines and South Africa recently.
Now, Pakistan has seen an exciting focus on SUVs where Honda has also reportedly introduced its compact SUV named Honda BR-V in the country.
