Huawei stood being blacklisted by US Government with regards to their 5g equipment has been the story on which everyone had their tabs on for any further development, behind close doors, or anything that would take the case further. On one side, US and Trump has been adamant on restricting Huawei from doing business in the US, Huawei has been busy breaking their own previous records and leaving Apple even further behind in second spot, only behind Samsung, which, Huawei has also targeted for 2020. About the records, Huawei has shipped over 200 million phones, a record that took 64 less days compared to the pre-blacklisted era. This is a major feat for Huawei, which was initially estimated to lose a lot of money because of the lack of business from the US. Well, now it looks like they have been well-compensated.

Now, about 5G. Well, the dominance of Huawei has overtaken Europe and the countries which are coming up with their 5G soon, would have Huawei tech installed. The only ones that remain are Germany and UK, which too are just under US pressure, but it seems like it wont be long before they let their guards down and let Huawei install their tech.
The only one left would be US and with the leading tech companies of US still not very close to building a proper 5g of their own, it seems like US too, would consider reconsider their ban on Huawei.
