An event by the Chinese company, Huawei was held today, with the primary focus of the event being to introduce the company’s latest smartphone – the Huawei Nova4. The phone has a 25MP selfie camera, and this is supported by a hole in the screen; one of the major attractions the phone has.
Theunveiling was run quite smoothly by the Chinese brand, and was supported bysome neat slides, which went on to reveal some quite staggering numbers, asHuawei went on to reveal that more than 65 million people have indulged in thepurchase of devices coming from the company’s Nova series, which was subject tolaunch just two years ago.
The Nova series is pitched as a mid-range lineup from the Chinese company. The lineup has a great reliance on good design, and such a trend began from the Huawei Nova 2016, as the phone came with a design which was inspired heavily from the Nexus 6P. Later on as the year progressed, the Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus came in quite trendy colors much like the flagship of that time, the Huawei P10 – as the color ranged from the likes of Grass Green, to the likes of Streamer Gold, Aurora Blue, amongst other options.

The Nova 2s seemed to have adopted a much similar approach to the Huawei Mate 10, as the phone came with a fingerprint scanner, and a huge screen up front, while internally, running the flagship chipset of Huawei – the Kirin 960. Huawei keptits tradition running with the Huawei Nova 3, however, the Nova 3+ arrived in Europe as the Huawei P Smart and the lower-powered Kirin 710.
Huawei reports staggering numbers
As of now though, we have the Huawei Nova 4 – which becomes the first official device of the company to feature with a punch hole for the selfie camera. Time will tell exactly how much the 65 million tally is affected by the sale of the Nova 4.
