Huawei has been part of a lot of controversy in recent times, with the company shut out from 5G infrastructure bids across the world and at the moment the company is also part of an investigation against their company, the USA have put allegations against the company for stealing trade secrets of the country and exporting them to the Chinese. As of the moment the company is in some really deep waters and if they take one step in the wrong direction, that can have devastating affects for the company. Huawei is now accused of stealing a video which they used to sell their product in particular their tablet.

The video in discussion is the Cymatics: Science vs Music by Nigel Stanford, which play with sound visualization and production. That particular video was released back in the year 2014, which was 5 years ago. Now Huawei has been reported to have used it as inspiration for an advert for its MediaPad. It was pretty much ignored, up till now that is but if you actually watch the video you will definitely see the similarities in the two videos and even the Music sounds like an imitation. Huawei however, has been known to carry out such actions in the past as well.
