Huawei P30 render shows triple camera setup, Along with ToF sensor arrangement

A render of a device – suspected to be the Huawei P30 Pro, has surfaced online. The image in question only goes on to show the rear of the device, however, it does indeed give us a look at the camera setup.

The predecessor to the Huawei P30 Pro came with a triple camera setup, however, with respect to the successor of the phone, it looks like Huawei will go on to add a fourth sensor. The fourth sensor in question will be a ToF 3D sensor, and this sensor will be used to scan 3D objects to use on the phone. You will also indeed be able to use the sensor of real-time motion tracking, even skeletal adjustments when capturing photos.

Speaking on the subject of the main sensors, the arrangement of those hasn’t actually changed. Two of the cameras go onto share a single housing, while the third one is separated and is positioned directly under the two cameras that I just mentioned. Beneath the third sensor is an LED flash. There will also be the LEICA branding, which goes on to confirm Huawei’s partnership with the German company will continue this year too.

The ToF 3D goes on to be placed just a few millimeters to right side of the first two cameras. While it is indeed placed in a housing coming with a similar length, it is indeed less thick. There also is a black circle which is found just above the sensor, and below it is the laser autofocus module.

While the camera configuration of the phone is still relatively unknown and unconfirmed, there are some rumors which go on to state that the main sensor is the new 38MP Sony IMX607. There are also rumors which state that it will go on to feature a periscope camera, making way for better zoom.
