While Huawei is gearing up to launch its second flagship of the year later in the month of September, it does not at all mean that it has forgotten about the other flagship launched earlier in the year – the Huawei P30 Pro. At its IFA 2019 event, the company announced new color variants along with EMUI 10 beta based on Android 10 for the P30 Pro.
Before actually announcing the new color variants, Huawei took upon itself to share some sale figures too. In accordance to what the company has said, the P30 series has proven out to be the most popular P series till date – as the company has proclaimed that it has managed to ship around 16.5 million units in 6 months, while also recording a global sales growth of 53 percent.

Originally, the P30 Pro made its way into the market in Aurora, Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, Black and finally, Pearl White. Now though, the phone features in two additional color variants – Mystic Blue and Misty Lavender. While the phone still happens to be covered in Gorilla Glass on the rear side, it now happens to have a dual finish. The top half of the device features with a glossy enough finish, the lower half – which comes with a lighter shade, comes with a matte finish. With regards to what all those who have had the pleasure of a hands-on experience with the phones have said – they don’t actually have a dual-texture.
The Chinese manufacturer has also claimed that both the color variants have indeed been made available for purchase, and that they will be based on Google’s latest Android 10 right out of the box. As far as the current owners of the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro go, they can sign up to be a beta tester for EMUI 10.
EMUI 10 will bring about a brand new user interface, along with an “immersive mobile experience” as claimed by Huawei itself.
