Huawei has been on top of the world with the announcement of their latest P series reaching new heights in camera photography. The pre-orders they received have also been very promising and it seems like Huawei’s aim of closing up the gap on Samsung in terms of Smartphone sales is going to be fulfilled this time around. However, it’s going to be a swift competition with the s10 also doing good in the market. The one thing that both devices have in common is the hefty price tag. A price tag which would refrain people from being able to take advantage of the latest that the companies has to offer. So, what should be done in such a case? It’s simple, introduce a Lite version of the phones.
That’s exactly what Huawei has done. We’ve already seen retailer pages and official website listings, but Huawei has finally decided to formally announce the P30 Lite.
The company has issued a press release confirming the device’s existence and details. And true to the previous listings, you’ve got a phone with a mid-range Kirin 710 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 6.15-inch full HD+ (2,321 x 1,080) waterdrop display.

The Huawei P30 Lite also stands out thanks to a triple rear camera setup. This trio is made up of a 24MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide snapper (120-degree field of view), and a 2MP depth sensor. Switch to the front and you’re looking at a 32MP sensor, lining up with its more expensive stablemates.
Huawei’s budget phone also offers a 3,340mAh battery with 18-watt charging, USB-C connectivity, a rear fingerprint scanner, and GPU Turbo 2.o support.
The prices are as following:
4GB 128GB- $369
At this price, people would be more than happy at what they are getting without having to break the bank.
