Pakistan is full of talented individuals who scale newer heights in every field they go in. Recently, Mirza Ali Baig became the first Pakistani to summit the seven peaks in seven continents around the world. He got that accolade after scaling Mount Everest – thereby reaching the top of the world. Not only that, he did so along with a great travel companion, the HUAWEI P30.
Huawei has an ongoing commitment to hone talented photographers from Pakistan for its #ShotonHuawei campaign. Mirza Ali Baig was also selected as a Huawei Experience Ambassador to undertake this adventurous journey to summit Mount Everest.
Speaking about the triumphant climb, Scott Huang, Country Manager, Huawei Pakistan said: “It makes us elated to be able to partner with Mirza Ali Baig for this breathtaking and daring journey to the top of Mount Everest. It is a remarkable achievement which not only shows his resilience and spirit, but also endorses the fact that HUAWEI P30 Series can withstand the toughest conditions on the planet to deliver outstanding durability and results. We congratulate Mirza Ali Baig for this recognition that not only brings honour to Pakistan, but to Huawei as well.”
The ecstatic journey brings a long standing dream of Ali to fruition. He had been working hard to achieve this feat since the last seven years. Expressing his delight after the climb, Ali said: “This shows that with a strong will power and resolve, no dream is difficult to realize. It also sheds light on the importance of mountain climbing as a sport, for which I would also like to thank Huawei Pakistan for believing in me and my mission. The HUAWEI P30 has been with me every step of the way, and now the world can see its camera capabilities in such harsh climatic conditions.”
The climb serves as a testimony that Huawei’s smartphones can withstand the toughest climatic conditions such as weather, temperature, pressure and wind to become the ultimate travel companion in every terrain.
