The Chinese company Huawei are looking all set to step in to the era of 5G technology with the company set to launch there very first 5G smartphone, which is reportedly the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G. The device will be launched in selected markets before the end of this month. The major company will be launching a 5G phone despite great uncertainty the company is facing as a manufacturer of android devices.
Chinese news publication, Global Times reports, that the device will go on sale in China on the 26th of August, and many other news outlets claim that the new mobile is already available to preorder from Amazon’s Italian site with a release date of August 22nd. It should also be noted that this device will be available in UAE on August 12th.
Moving on the new, 5G device is quite similar to the existing Mate 20 X externally, with pretty much the same 7.2-inch display, and triple-rear camera system. However, it is reported that the company have modified the internal components of the said phone and upgraded them to handle the demand of its 5G Balong 5000 modem. In addition to that it is believed that the battery size has also been increased from 4,200mAh to 5000mAh and to compliment that the RAM has also seen an increase from 6GB to 8GB and its storage has been increased from 128GB to 256GB.

Apart from these countries, the launch of this 5G phones in other countries is still unsure, consider the company’s presence on the USA’s Entity list, which has resulted in a decline in the market reputations et by the giant. In the UK, the mobile phone oriented company had intended to launch this device in June, but since June has already passed us, it is now unclear as to when the phone will launch in the UK.
There are already signs that the Trump administration could ease the restrictions on Huawei, but there are still questions regarding the future of Huawei’s devices at least in the US that is. As of now, US officials are clear that Huawei will continue to stay on the Entity List, but it will issue licenses to the companies who want to do business with Huawei, where there is no threat to US national security, the national security official on the current situation between Huawei and the US.
