Android tablets seems like a thing of the past when it comes to seeing them in public, yet many big name companies are still spending time and effort on introducing new promising models. For years, tablets have tried to replace laptops and even though the Apple iPad came extremely close to doing that, there still seems to be no replacement for the laptops. Android tablets still have a long way to got before they start giving laptops a hard time, but the MatePad from Huawei might be giving iPad a run for its money.

The tablet shows the belief that Huawei has in its tablets and the future for Android Tablet because iPad without a competitor would be incomplete and even though android tablets have had a hard time establishing an identity like the iPad did, getting good specs and good material could go a long way in making much needed name for Android in the tablet category.
