With US being adamant on banning Huawei and stopping all business ventures that Huawei has with other companies, Huawei has turned to other countries which have been more than willing to partner with Huawei to use their services, both parties earning quite a handsome sum in the process. First it was Russia, and then came Dubai. It seems like Huawei didn’t take any time in crying over spilled milk and got themselves new cartons, this time from Russia and Dubai. However, our focus would remain on the Dubai deal for now.
The deal signed with Dubai is worth a staggering 50 billion yuan and that includes Huawei getting free advertisement of their Huawei Mate 20 for 3 minutes on the Burj Khalifa, which would have costed $1 million otherwise, and is a gift from the King of Dubai to Huawei. UAE telecom provider du has announced that alongwith the role out of 5G it would be giving free devices to the customers who pre ordered and they will be receiving an Axon 10 5G.

Etisalat have also made the 5G announcement and soon after it was du’s turn who collaborated with ZTE. UAE customers have been assured that with world class 5G now accessible to Dubai, there will be an influx of 5G devices from now onwards in the coming weeks. Du was very proud of the deal
