The most recent announcement that follows Honor is the company confirming that its next V-series flagship is set to be named the Vera30. The phone will represent a milestone for the company, as it will become the very first phone from the manufacturer to possess the capabilities for 5G connectivity.
Honor’s parent company is Huawei, and rumors surrounding Huawei say that both its flagship devices in the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro will make their debut next week. The recent speculation says that the devices won’t actually feature with a 90Hz refresh rate, though the devices may offer a more conventional refresh rate of 60Hz. As far as Honor’s upcoming phone is concerned, the Vera30 will arrive later in the year with a 90Hz display.
And while it will come as an impressive feature that may be amongst the main selling points of the device, various other smartphone manufacturers based in the Chinese market too are gearing up to launch their own devices that will feature with a 90Hz display. The perks of the display are many – as it offers a much more smoother visual experience while gaming, watching movies as well as regular usage. Much has been made of the OnePlus 7 Pro – one of the reasons why is because of the fact that it comes with a 90Hz display.
