A premium version of Honor 9 is coming to select European markets, for less than 500 euros. This premium version of the phone will come with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. After the introduction of the Huawei 9, it can be said that the phone really did not disappoint. The Honor 9 is a very good phone, perhaps a premium phone with a rather decent price tag. Huawei unveiled that there would be three versions of the Huawei 9 available – 4 GB/64 GB for $340, 6 GB/ 64 GB for $400, and 6 GB/ 128 GB for $440. Initially, only the first version launched in Europe, though this seems to be changing very soon.
German online publication WinFuture, revealed that the most premium version of the Huawei 9 was coming to select European markets. The device is already available in Italy, exclusively through Three (Tre), but the website also claims that some swiss retailers, including the likes of Digitec and Galaxus have started to take pre-orders for the Huawei 9 Premium aswell.
The official price of the Huawei 9 premium in Switzerland is 450 euros, which is only some few euros higher than its not so premium sibling. The price for which the phone will be available in Italy has not yet been revealed, however, given the fact that the Honor 9 sells for 450 euros in most European countries, the premium version will probably be available for close to 500 euros in the EuroZone.
The ROM, and RAM are what differentiate the premium and the simple version. The rest is pretty much the same. The phone comes with a 5.15 inch premium display, powered by a kirin 960 processor, while sporting a powerful 3200 mAh battery. Huawei has also included its signature dual-lens camera, which was expected, one 20-megapixel sensor for black-and-white photos and one 12-megapixel sensor for RGB.
Made with a combination of metal and glass, the colors certainly complement the design. The color options range from Blue, Amber Gold, Gray to Black. The price for the 4GB RAM and 64GB version is 449 euros, while the price of the other variant soon to be unveiled.
