Honor has launched its latest phone, and the launch of the phone has taken place in India. The latest launch sees the release of the Honor 8C, which falls in the category of being a budget smartphone, while at the same time becoming the world’s first smartphone to feature with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor.
While the Honor 8C is an affordable phone, it does manage to pack in quite some decent specs. Considering the fact that the phone come with the Snapdragon 632 processor, packed with 4 gigs of RAM, and a huge 4000mAh battery to support day-to-day proceedings, this all comes as a very attractive package, especially in the given price tag. The battery is so good in fact that the company claims the phone can actually run for 2 days on one charge.
On the frontal side of things, the phone comes with a 13MP + 2MP AI Dual camera setup, packed with f1.8 aperture, and new AI modes, which have the capabilities to recognize 22 objects, along with 500 scenarios. Also not to forget, there is AI Face Unlock, integrated with an 8MP front facing camera, with soft light.

Android 9 Pie won’t be a feature coming straight out of the box, because of the fact that the Honor 8C comes with EMUI 8.2, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The phone will be available in two different color variants – Blue, and black, and both the variants will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon India, with the sales set to start on the 10th of December. As far as the 32GB version goes, it will be available for around 11,999 Indian Rupees, while the 64GB version will be priced at INR 12,999.
